In the 2022-23 financial year the Victorian Government invested $780 million into improving journeys for locals, tourists and freight. A majority of that investment was to maintain regional roads.
Regional Roads Victoria (RRV) is responsible for the overall management – including construction, maintenance, inspection and repair of – a network of around 19,000km of freeways and arterial roads throughout regional Victoria.
