RRV’s Gippsland team will join over 350 exhibitors from around Australia at this year’s field days on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 April at the Bairnsdale Aerodrome.

RRV Regional Director (Eastern), Pas Monacella said up to 10,000 people pass through the gates at the field days each year, providing an ideal opportunity for the regional roads body to showcase road improvement projects taking place across East Gippsland.

“We have a lot happening in Victoria’s east and we are seizing this opportunity to tell the community about it. There are road improvement projects underway in Johnsonville, Swan Reach, Lakes Entrance and on the Great Alpine Road, as well as several upgrades on the Princes Highway – many of these projects will be of interest to the agricultural and freight industries,” Mr Monacella said.

“We will have team members from across RRV on-hand to answer questions about anything from the new myLearners app to potholes. We will also be joined by our road safety partners – the Transport Accident Commission – who will be there to talk about all the work we are doing to improve road safety.

“And back by popular demand following the 2018 field days – our Transport Safety Services team will be making an appearance with their black, white and green patrol vehicles,” Mr Monacella said.
