Timber and other raw materials from the Towards Zero project has been repurposed to the local community group as working materials.

The timber can be cut out and milled, is used in workshops and can be used to make a number of items including furniture, bird traps, or even cubby houses. Timber that can’t be re-used by the group will be raffled off as firewood and proceeds are given to local charities.

The Stanhope Men’s Shed is a completely self-funded group, dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of men in the local community. The Men’s Shed movement has become a powerful tool for helping men to once again become valued and productive members of our community.
