From 11:59pm Thursday 10 June, the five reasons to leave your home will no longer apply, and you can travel up to 25 kilometres for any reason.
The only reasons to travel more than 25 kilometres from your home will be, –care and care giving, work if you cannot do it from home, education and to get vaccinated.
Exercise and shopping will be limited to 25 kilometres from your home. If there are no shops in your 25-kilometre radius, you’ll be able to travel to the ones closest to you.
Advice for passengers travelling interstate
Travelling interstate is not recommended. If you do need to travel interstate for a permitted reason, please check the rules that your destination state or territory has in place. If you ordinarily reside outside of Victoria, you may leave to return interstate. Visit coronavirus.vic.gov.au for more information.
