The community can share their thoughts and first-hand experiences using the Melbourne and Kilmore Roads intersection by dropping in to a community session anytime between 4pm and 8pm at Gisborne Community Centre on 19 September, or completing a short online survey until 29 September.
RRV Regional Director (Northern), Brian Westley said feedback from the community will help shape future designs to improve safety and traffic flow as part of a $12.5 million Victorian Government upgrade.
“We know this busy intersection serves as a key connection for locals and those commuting to and from Melbourne and we encourage everyone interested in Gisborne’s transport network to come along to the drop-in session or complete the online survey.”
“Ultimately this project aims to increase safety and we’ll use valuable feedback from drivers, cyclists and pedestrians to shape preliminary designs before returning to the community next year,” Mr Westley said.
To share your thoughts via the online survey or to register your attendance at the community drop-in session, go to the Melbourne Road and Kilmore Road intersection upgrade page.
