The bridge remains closed to vehicles, after being significantly damaged by an oversized vehicle last week.
Regional Roads Victoria’s structural engineers are continuing to finalise their assessments and are currently planning for future repair work.

RRV traffic engineers are monitoring traffic on the road network around the detour areas very closely and are tweaking traffic signals during peak times to help keep everyone moving.
To help keep traffic flowing, people travelling from Newtown to Highton or Belmont are advised to use the Hamilton Highway and Geelong Ring Road.
People travelling from Highton to Newtown are advised to use Barrabool Road and Shannon Avenue.
